Let me stand by Jacob's ladder
I want to see-
The mighty angels as they come and go,
To try and set us free.
I know it's bright there
As Jesus points the way-
Here and there, to and fro
Where they're needed day by day.
There must be a rainbow above
Where music meets the Light;
God's promise to us will always be in sight.
Let me stand by Jacob's ladder.
Let us bask in the Glory.
Won't you come and see?
