Leafy Lesson

The colors in a fall leaf
As it decays away…
Remind me of the Bible
And what it has to say.
When we live without Love
And Mercy deep within;
We are like the "faded" leaves
That whirl around in wind.
If we put our trust in God
And His Loving ways-
We can thrive as "evergreens,"
To bear "fruit" every day!
