"Ye have not because ye ask not,"
But do not ask "amiss..."
For if a prayer is selfish,
It just goes on the list.
Prayers must have a sustenance,
Maintaining us each day-
Through the Holy Spirit
In a Godly way.
Come before Christ quietly,
Humbly night or day...
Show that you respect Him
(Be "yourself" and pray.)
It's communication
Between the Lord and us;
A way to connect with Him
And prove it's HIM we Trust!
