Praying Man

 (Based on: James 5:16)

A praying man is powerful
And says "Thy will be done."
He respects the Master
And strives to live as ONE!
He puts his trust in Jesus
Each time he is tried…
Knowing he's protected
From the Devil's pride.
A praying man is faithful
When it comes to praise;
Knowing there's just ONE Lord
And lauds His Holy name!
He goes into his "closet"
And falls down on his knees,
Where devotion and communion-
Preside o'er fervent pleas.
A praying man is trusting
As he works each day;
Knowing he is covered
By Christ's blood and way.
And when his prayers are answered
He always looks above…
Smiling in the knowledge
That he's been touched by LOVE!
