Our "ransom" is the treasure
That we have in store;
Freedom from oppression
Purchased by our Lord!
Unspeakable and awesome,
A gift from God above;
Wrought through crucifixion
To prove His precious LOVE.
We belong to Jesus
And His throne of grace...
Because He has redeemed us
By dying in our place.
The devil cannot claim us,
Because the Savior rose
And furnished LIFE eternal-
To His fair "betrothed!"
