Secret Sessions

 (Based on: Psalm 91:1, Matthew 6:1-18,
II Corinthians 9:7)

When we pray in "secret,"
It's then our Father hears
(Giving alms privately
From the heart is dear!)
If it's only to impress,
Or "flaunt" our faith around;
Jehovah will abhor it
(His judgment is renowned.)
He requests an offering
Of time or money spent,
To be very humble
(THEN it's Heaven-sent.)
HE will get the Glory-
We will get a "raise..."
That's how God does business
And gets His workers paid!
